I have been using a Cintiq Tablet for quite a while in combination with my usual suite of digital programs. But, while my Cintiq Tablets have several buttons, there simply aren't enough for all my time saving shortcuts. Of course I have a keyboard, but constantly pulling out the keyboard or trying to one hand the keyboard short cuts gets very frustrating after a while, especially if you are doing it repeatedly every day.
Since keyboard shortcuts and action shortcuts are a fantastic time saver, and I am extremely lazy, I decided to add a "Side-Car" to my Tablet to fit the bill for my needs. I found a Razer Tartarus Gaming Keyboard on sale, and will be repurposing it as my secondary tool for Photoshop, etc.
I look forward to having my hands on many more shortcut options, and will of course give a lil' review of the product once I have taken it through a test drive.
Stay tuned to a future post, where I will detail my digital set up and some tips and tricks to save you valuable time and effort when working on your various digital projects.
