Featured Artist - Charity Auction

I was recently contacted by another SCAD Alumni, and invited to participate at a Gallery and Auction event as one of their Featured Artists.

The event itself, The Art Hound Exhibition and Auction, will be a Charity event to benefit the Humane Society, and it's rescue animals. This was a perfect opportunity to both raise funds and awareness for the plight of our furry friends, but also to help promote my skills as an illustrator. Illustrators live and die by how well they promote themselves, so this was an opportunity that was far too good to pass up on.

The Gallery Showing takes place from March 3rd, 2015 to March 6th, 2015 and is open to the public. There will be small prints sold during the viewing with guest visits from the artists participating, including yours truely, and some slightly furrier guests there to help promote the Charity tied to the event.

If you have the time, stop on by and enjoy the event, and take a moment to purchase one of my smaller canvas prints. 80% of the proceeds are being donated to the Charity, with the remaining going towards the artists themselves.

For those with slightly more expensive tastes, and a need for larger size artwork to adorn your walls with, there will also be a private auction held on March 7th, 2015. The catered event begins at 7pm, where several of my larger canvas pieces will be auctioned, again with 80% of the proceeds going towards the Humane Society rescue efforts.

The event is being held at the Davenport House Museum, and the Kennedy Pharmacy in Savannah, Ga. Both are restored pieces of history from Savannahs youth, and have been lovingly restored and repurposed as Exhibition Centers for private Gallery, Auctions, and Events. Come on down and take in the sights of the authentic exteriors before you head inside for an art exhibition extravaganza!

The image to the left, an original acrylic painting of mine titled "The Bean", is being sold in a variety of sizes, ranging from 5x7 all the way up to 24x30. Each piece is professionally mounted and printed on 100+ year archival canvas, so the artwork will retain its quality and luster for an entire lifetime of enjoyment.

If you are unable to make it to the event, please feel free to contact me, as I am happy to provide additional print sales of my artwork on a per-person basis. Look forward to many more of my pieces becoming available for purchase as demand requires.
